Appointment setting for a towing company
The most reliable growth for a tow yard is not consumer advertising. It is 40 outbound calls a week to body shops, independent garages, dealership service departments, apartment complexes, property managers and small fleets. One good account is worth 2 to 15 calls a month at retail rates, and it keeps producing without more ad spend.
The script is short. Ask who they use now, ask what their usual response time is, and ask to be the second call when that yard is tied up. Being the backup is how you get in, and once you show up 15 minutes faster than the incumbent one time, the order flips. The mistake is leading with price. Shops switch on response time and on how the driver behaves at the scene, not over $10 on a hook fee. Two weeks in, working looks like 300 dials, a list of named decision makers, and eight to twenty drop-bys booked.
